My goal in 2010 is to do everything bigger, better and more creative than last year. It’s a goal I set for myself every year and hopefully it shows in the work I produce. I kicked off 2010 with a foxhunt with Priscilla Godsoe of the River Hills Foxhounds, followed up by a shoot by the always photogenic Elle. The wedding talk is already gearing up and expect some photos from some not so local destinations!

092609 – Jami and I photographed the wedding of Erin Yiengst and Justin Moyer at the Mulberry Art Studio in Lancaster. Unfortunately the sun gave way to rain, but we did what we could to turn lemons into lemonade.

I spent more time at Longwood Gardens in the last week than I have in months. It’s such a scenic location with so many beautiful and interesting subjects to shoot. The flowers and fountains are always amazing, but add in some stunning people and it’s even more brilliant there. I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with Tina on Saturday. We picked the most awful day to try to shoot because it was wall to wall people for a festival and fireworks display, but as I showed her around during her maiden visit, we took a few pictures.
I’m a little biased… I think they turned out well as it’s pretty hard to take bad photos of my friend.

Spent a rainy Friday at Longwood Gardens with my wonderful friend and amazing wedding partner, Jami McEvoy. It’s nice having someone so cool to turn a lemon of a day into lemonade with! Jami’s the perfect wedding partner as she sees things that go unnoticed by so many others. Our styles are different but they work so well together.

I will be hopefully wrapping up the final shots for one of my two upcoming photo books by the end of next week. One is a book of some of my most well received photos as well as some new, unreleased work and the other book is one of my wedding work, including some remixed photos along with some full bleed black and white work. Stay tuned!
