I had the good fortune of starting my 4th of July by hanging out with my friend Jessica and her pup at a nature preserve. Ever since I met Jessica some 15+ years ago I wanted to take her picture. She had a timeless quality to her that grabbed my attention even before photography was a part of my life. I smiled when she told me that she doesn’t photograph well or have many pictures of her. I felt it was my duty to fix that.
We had a gorgeous day, filled with bright blue skies, rolling hills and a very refreshing river. At the end of the day I was able to show her how the rest of us see her and as a bonus… I had a completely worn out and exhausted dog. Win/Win!
I hope you all had a wonderful, safe 4th of July with a lot of laughs, good friends and family and great food! So many great things are coming up quickly here. Stay tuned!
Quite a few of you have expressed interest in Jessica’s necklace. It was made by Brianna Peterson of Mrs. Peterson Pottery and she has a very cool collection of handmade, unique items. Stop by and make someone in your life very happy!
